... and Hermoine, Luna, Bellatrix, Lily, Minerva, Ginny and Arabella are holding their own. All have perked up today, are drinking, eating, stretching their legs, chirping, pecking at each other, flapping their tiny little wings... so far, so good.
sweet babies!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it!
ReplyDeletecould not BE any cuter!
ReplyDeleteI had to go back and read the last post. So these are turkeys? You said turkey chicks. They are precious. I'm quite sure my Layla would pluck one up and (gulp) give it a good snap without thinking twice. There is something in her breed that makes her do that, unfortunately with baby bunnies.
ReplyDeleteSo, they are two days old and can go straight to seed? I bred cockatiels for several years and the occasional abandoned wild birds and I had to syringe feed them formula for several weeks. Of course that's mighty different, chickens and birds, I'm just surprised they know to crack the seed, etc. It's always a learning experience with you, my dear!
Love the names! :)
XO,
Jane
So sweet.
ReplyDeleteLove their names, how did you come up with them.
They're so cute, and I love their names also. Hermoine? I hadn't heard that in many years; my dad's sister had that name so it's a VERY old one. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're such a good mama to your critters.
