I'm about to upchuck TR*MP nonsense, because it's my party and I'll do what I want to. Bare with me and Bear with me, both apply.
This is where I ask any of you, if you are indeed a Tr*mp supporter... please, in the name of all things that are holy, sacred, sane, rational and within reason. Tell me here, please.. tell me.... why you are willing to give that man the power of being the President. Of .The.United.States.of.America. All I ask is that you don't just say "I want something different." or ...you know, what we all feel... "f*ck the government". Because if you say that, and you vote for the wrongest candidate to ever hit the podiums just because - f*ck the government - and he actually wins... we're all f*cked. You included.
And I gotta say this... from the very beginning when he came on the scene and I thought it was surely a joke (ha!) .... I don't believe he really wants the job! Can you imagine The D*nald leaving the comfort and security of his ultra lavish home(s) to live in the paltry by comparison White House with all it's high security and staff and demands and necessary regimens and you know, people that he'd actually have to answer to and work with and not just boss around? .... You think he actually wants to be so CONTAINED??.... Hell.. no. No, I don't think he ever really wanted the job.. but now with his cult following and that ginormous ego, he's STUCK. Unless he finds a save-face way out. Like getting fed up with the GOP and going independent. I wouldn't put that past him, because I honestly don't think he WANTS THE JOB.

I was rude to a friends friend on Facebook yesterday. My friend posted something.. and the gist of it was she doesn't understand how any woman can vote for Trump... and this is what her friend upchucked, like a hairball, if you ask me. There was more in her initial comment but this is the gist.
She: I want something different. I'm going to take my chances on Trump.
Here's where I opened my big mouth: Me: Somehow, XXXX, I bet you don't approve of racist pompous woman demeaning egotistical bigotry either. His own Mother said he would be a terrible President. He was certainly a horrible husband at least twice. For some reason some people are turning a blind eye to some really important facts.
She: Speaking of horrible husbands Bill was no angel ; Hillary has a law degree and plenty of connections...why didn't she send the bum packing...she didn't need him . She wants to be president yet she didn't show much backbone...unless she just didn't care what he did or with whom.I have not been impressed with her performance over the past decade.I'm willing to take a chance on Trump. I'm so sick of political correctness. I referred to someone as being Oriental and someone jumped all over me and said that's now considered racist...well crap on that ...like I meant any harm to some ASIAN I didn't even know! And please tell me if I should say Black or Afro-American? At least I can get what Trump is saying and I like him be-cause he is genuine but that's just me. By the way,Karen XXX XXXXX, it's been nice talking with you. Want to be friends?
Me: XXXX, I'm not a Hillary fan either but she has shown more backbone in her lifetime than Trump, who thinks only of his bottom line. I'm not just saying it, you need only look at the facts. Something Trump supporters just don't want to do. You sure are taking a chance on Trump, and as far as -getting what Trump is saying-? A kindergarten student can get what he's saying, there's not much substance to it. F political correctness- how about just common courtesy, how about diplomacy, not belittling women, people of other ethnicity and those with disabilities? You think he's genuine?? Please- other than chirping some of the dissent we all feel, show me where he has proved to be something other than a genuine self serving self adoring prick? That includes his personal and professional life. It hasn't been nice talking to you, XXXX , because I'm horrified that there are so many following that train wreck like sheep because they - want something different- I do too- but that ain't it. That's like hoping for an alligator instead of a gecko and getting Godzilla. I hope that's a reference you can understand. Pardon the political incorrectness of insulting your intelligence, but then again, it's something Trxmp does regularly, so you're good with that, right?
*silence
I'm guessing XXXX no longer wants to be my friend. But seriously, folks. I want to hear from you if you're a TrXmp supporter. Give me an intelligent answer, one that shows thought and reason and logic and FACTS, the real ones. Not mine, not yours... real proof that that man comes within two continents distance of being what we all hope for as Presidential material to lead this great nation. I'm all ears if you're all heart and without malice. Ready? Go ....
First up. I'm not a T☆ump person. Never could be. Never will be.
ReplyDeleteWhat I came here to say is I bet you don't get many takers. It's hard to articulate a reason for voting for him that doesn't make the commenter sound like an idiot.
That's my take on things.
Not crazy about Hillary. Might write in Captain America.
Not a Trump supporter!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me literally ill that we don't have a decent, caring, non-narcissistic candidate. I would dare to hope for someone to jump into the fray who "really" cares about our country, what it stands for, what we stand for, what we need. All I know is we're going down the tubes and have been for a while. :(
ReplyDeleteYou are going to wait a long time because there is no intelligent response from a trump supporter. I was for Bernie out of the three but I will vote Hilary as the choice between the two. I am infuriated at those Bernie supporters and Trump haters who say they will not vote at all now, as that IS a vote for Trump, and when someone says that to me I remind them that thousands upon thousands of people have died to be able to vote at all....so shame on non voters.
ReplyDeleteTrump supporters need to pick up a copy of Mein Kampf . Bet they'll love it
"If you win, you need not have to explain...If you lose, you should not be there to explain!”
"If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.”
"I use emotion for the many and reserve reason for the few.”
"The victor will never be asked if he told the truth. ”
"The very first essential for success is a perpetually constant and regular employment of violence.”
"Humanitarianism is the expression of stupidity and cowardice.”
ALL ADOLF HITLER
OOPS did that FB idiot think this was Trump?
enough?
I have parted ways with a couple acquaintances over current politics and I say good riddance. If you can be that big of a F'ing -idiot bye bye so long. and you can go join the Brexit folks who are daily suffering HUGE remorse over what they've done, and scrambling amongst the nightmares to come, while their leader Boris is backpedalling on EVERY SINGLE LIE he told. He is doomed.
Has anyone else noticed these two idiots both have the WORST hair around?
Their choice of coiffure is evidence enough that they're, excuse me here.....but
FUCKING IDIOTS
(You can edit if you wish but I just had to type it) lol
Okay...first off..arguing with a dimwit on Facebook is not good for your blood pressure! Arguing with a Trump supporter is like pissin' in the wind...don't waste your breath!I absolutely agree with you that he entered this whole thing as a lark...and is not sure how to get out of it. I have a nephew, just graduated college, his momma inherited a boatload of money several years ago. Said nephew has never had to work..he is a rabid Trump supporter and has joined the Trump campaign as a worker for a nominal fee..he doesn't need the money. Arguing with him serves no purpose so I don't bother. At 62, I am learning when and when not to open my mouth. My plan is to sit back...watch and wait. I cannot believe the majority of the voters will put this jackass in office...nobody is that stupid...
ReplyDeleteMy two cents . Now this is a big 2cents cause I have gone underground on this whole election and am avoiding getting into it with anyone. Now for my 2cents . How could anyone vote for anyone who looks the camera straight in the lens and says "If I loose this election I will consider it a huge waste of my time and money". Not gee I want to make America better or whatever. No that my friends is ego at its finest. And one more thing I do agree with your statement about he has got himself into a heap of goat berries and can't find a way out without loosing face.
ReplyDeleteIt's very hard for me to be quiet on every "support Trump" post that I see on FB. Even after yet another Benghazi report, people still want to hang her over that. Is she always honest and has a clear conscience? Hell no. Does she know how to govern this country and keep us on course? I believe so, although she will be blocked over and over by the Republicans. Trump is an idiot, plain and simple. He is not just something different, he is something very dangerous. I fear the Sanders supporters may not vote, the regular GOP supporters....well who knows? Scary times for sure.
ReplyDeleteI said several weeks ago that Trump may well step away from this race. As the divide in the polls widens and the GOP backs further and further away from him, I predict he'll just quit and spend the rest of his life whining that he COULDN'T win because the GOP didn't do their job in supporting him. And in the end of course, he'll sue the RNC, a bunch of people individually and whomever he can find to blame. Because, after all, it isn't his fault things went tits up.
ReplyDeleteI do wish we had a better choice here, but I'll take Hillary over Trump anyday. At least she has more than half a brain and she has more decorum in her little finger than Trump has in his REALLY LITTLE FINGER.
YES!!! I've been saying since this mess began that the Donald will get bored (or whiney if things don't go his way and quit) and look for a way out. As for FB, roll and scroll past the idjuts.
ReplyDeleteI always used to say it would be a frosty day in hell before I ever voted for a Clinton. Well it's f*****g frosty. It's a desperate state of affairs. But this is what republicans deserve. They rewarded idiot behavior for years and appealing to a beligerent and small minded base and now we have this. Bad, cheap entertainment. And let me make it clear I am way more of a republican than a democrat! But I'm not a republican like these republicans now. Oh god I'm more annoyed now. Back to my martini... I suggest you do the same! Haha
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I agree with your political views 100%.
ReplyDeleteSecondly I am just about ready to UNFRIEND that pain in the ass.
Karen!!! I THINK I LOVE YOU!! I think we need to institute a basic testing process before ppl can cast a vote!! Google "Jimmy Kimmel Lie Witness News: Hilary Clinton emails edition" nought said!!! Thanks for getting my BP UP, loved every word!!!
ReplyDeleteI will be voting and it won't be for her.
ReplyDeleteFirst let me say that I am not an idiot and I am a Trump supporter.
ReplyDeleteI believe that Hillary is only interested in dictating and I also believe that she is incapable of making decisions that are for the good of all LEGALLY. I believe that Bernie is a Socialist and I don't want to live in a socialistic country. I am voting for Trump because I believe he will hold people accountable for their own lives something that isn't happening right now in these United States. I would rather have someone talking who loves the country and isn't interested in his legacy as this latest president is. Trump owes no one in politics (on a large scale) anything so I feel that paybacks as soon as he gets in office for previous favors is a nonissue. I also am a hard worker who comes from a family of hard workers and is not in favor of handouts as the liberals in this country usually are. I want secure borders I want illegals sent back so that we are not stretched by aiding those who do not pay in to our system. I believe that by voting Republican, some not all, of my concerns will be addressed. And lastly I have not insulted anyone's intelligence with my answer so please if you respond don't insult mine. Kelly from New Jersey
Kelly from New Jersey, I respect your comment and I appreciate your input. I was specifically looking for the non-idiots out there to respond, because I genuinely want to know what you have to say. Believe it or not, we want some of the same things. Tr*mp has not given me one reason to believe he can pull off all the things on his list, things I think we can all agree need fixing. He's not offering solutions, not one yet. That's the biggest problem for me. I don't agree that The Donald loves the country - just one example - he exported labor and his money outside of these United States, which does nothing but hurt our country and cut his costs. He has used the system and it's loopholes for his gain, our loss. He admits this, and says - because I could! But I will fix it so no one else can once I'm in office- Why is he the only candidate in the history of ever refusing to release his tax returns? He is so hell bent on immigrants leaving and yet he married.. three. He has also shown racist and sexist views and little to no regard for the concept of - respect - , something I think would hurt us badly if he were President. Do I want more secure borders? You betcha. Do I think the entitlements are way out of wack? Absolutely. Do I think immigrants should get here LEGALLY and follow the laws we put forth? Pay taxes? REFORM absolutely. What's The D*nalds plan, do you know? Have you heard ANY plan?.. to me.. that's big. I'm not trying to insult your intelligence, you are clear on why you will vote for him and I understand your grievances, agree with them! But we still don't have any answers here... just - I want change- .
ReplyDeleteThe mere idea that Donald Trump is the Republican candidate boggles the mind. Literally. And for every single reason you noted, Karen. Kelly can cloak her support in anyway she wants, but his candidacy appeals to the lowest common denominator in this country, in every way, shape, and form.
ReplyDeleteI always tell my kids it is important to listen to people of other viewpoints; you can always, always learn something new, even if you don't change your mind or the other person's. But, honestly, Trump is simply beyond the pale.
I live outside Cleveland, and I think the convention, which so many of us (regardless of political party) thought was going to be so wonderful for the city, is going to be a nightmare. It has turned into such a flashpoint for a lot of people, and it gets worse every day.
I enjoy your blog, always, Karen. Never commented but this man is such a joke, I was compelled to throw in my 2 cents...
Elle
This is my second post. I want to quote someone who shares my feelings:
ReplyDelete"Trump is not perfect. He is not politically correct. He is obviously not a politician. But he is owned by no one. And he is a brilliant executive with years of negotiating experience who has turned millions into billions. And I believe he loves our country and will do what is best for our people. And that scares the wits out of the globalist establishment."
I cannot believe those who want to vote for "her" with all the baggage she brings not only from herself but from her husband as well. All I can say is they believe they are above the law and nobody can touch them. How can a woman advocate for women's rights when she took millions of dollars from countries that treat women like dirt or the fact that she enabled her husband to mess around with all those women and probably still is doing that? How? And yet people will vote for her. And I cannot understand that one iota.
Well, Cheyenne, again I thank you for your input. Yes, Hillary comes with baggage, she wouldn't have been my choice, but she has far more credentials and a long long list of accomplishments that tell me she's at least not going to be the train wreck that is Tr*mp. So, to be clear, you believe that because he is owned by no one, he'll be a good President? Brilliant executive? I Don't know.. I call four bankruptcy's and the joke that was Trump University -failure-. He also failed in Atlantic City, read about it. Ask Atlantic City what they think of Trump. He failed two of his three marriages too. Cheated! Great character there... He also had very little to do with the raising of his second daughter, just too busy. so if you're going to throw stones at old Bill, toss em over at Donald too... be honest about what you're looking at. What gives you the impression he loves our country? Because he says so now? You ask how she can advocate for womens rights when she took millions of dollars from countries that treat women like dirt? TRUMP himself treats women like dirt! Here's a comparison - he loves our country? He exports his clothing line from Mexico and China, cheap labor over there, don't ya know - and builds hotels and other properties overseas, taking away thousands and thousands of jobs he could be providing for americans here! Yet he's going to bring jobs back to America. What happened before, he didn't care then but he cares now? He has loans from German banks too... He loves our country? I'm sorry, I just don't see it.
ReplyDeleteI was quoting someone else in my last comment. I am sorry I ever commented at all because you took me out behind the barn and gave me a good whooping. I don't need that from anybody at the age of 73. I have my opinion, I will stick to it, I will most definitely vote for him and not think twice about it. Some of the things you wrote after my comments hold no water or truth. Atlantic City did itself in after he left 7 years ago. So what if he married 3 times...I am on my 2nd (and yes the last) marriage...at least he married those women. Bill just raped and screwed his women while H looked the other way. To be honest with you, we should not judge someone on their personal lives who is running for the presidency. Oops...once again, I have said far too much. I will keep the rest to myself and I won't be back here anymore.
ReplyDeleteJust remember one thing -- if you do not vote Republican, it is just another vote for the Democrats. Is that what you want? Don't answer, I already know what it is.
No one is whooping anyone, it's called debating. I hadn't hoped to sway anyone's opinion, this post is an attempt to understand another point of view and discuss it. That doesn't necessarily mean AGREE. I happen to agree with you that relationship issues don't belong in politics. Bill was stupid, but it didn't deserve the hideous attention it got, given many US presidents before him were "stupid" in that department. You are now calling BC a rapist, which is simply not true, but you aren't willing to acknowledge Tr8mps bad behavior. Why aren't Tr8mp supporters holding an honest mirror up to their man? And what solid plans has he put forth (just give me one!) that give you confidence in his ability to lead a nation such as ours, other than shouting the dissent many of us feel, and that includes me. That's still my question. You haven't said too much at all, Cheyenne. I welcome your opinion, I asked for it. If you can't handle a back and forth, this isn't the blog for you. And, it's OK that you won't visit again, free country, thankfully.
ReplyDeleteJust FYI - I am not a Democrat, I am unaffiliated. I am trying to use what I believe is good sense when making my voting choices, I do not let a party dictate that choice. I think if we ALL did that regardless, we'd be in far better shape.

ReplyDeleteAh so you couldn't resist a revisit. That's good, as I said before, conversation and understanding was my goal.
ReplyDeleteTo be clear, Bill Clinton was a pig as far as his inability to keep his d*ck in his pants at crucial points in his career. Stupid move for an intelligent man. As for Her allegations.. he wasn't tried, do you ask yourself why? I did do my homework, and if you look at all things honestly.. you have to acknowledge things like this also... Jack Nelson, Washington bureau chief of the Los Angeles Times, said "This is a story that's been knocked down and discredited so many times ... [E]veryone's taken a slice of it, and after looking at it, everyone's knocked it down. The woman has changed her story about whether it happened. It just wasn't credible." And I'm sorry, but I have to question a woman who doesn't speak of her horrible horrible experience for 20 years, but then when she can gain from it due to the other persons position, she comes forth with a story. If these things that are unproven really bother you, then you should be concerned about this too.... I didn't post about it because like the Clinton story, it's unsubstantiated.... http://www.snopes.com/2016/06/23/donald-trump-rape-lawsuit/ Snopes is a fact checker, so there is no biased opinion there. Just the facts. But it's a story... so are you biting? Or do you wait till it's proven? Again, Thanks for stopping in, Cheyenne. I do respect that you have an opinion and you're willing to share.
I not only came back to read these comments, I've shared your bog with 10+ friends!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job as moderator Karen. Unfortunately some think they are so right they can't listen to reason....BC is a rapist has to be an all time low on the uneducated and ignorant voter scale!
I don't understand how well-thought women could support him after some of the comments he has made, and I don't understand how any minority could support him. So with those two factors, how is he even in the running? It baffles me. But there are a lot of folks out there who do.
ReplyDeleteWow, there are some strong feelings out there! I have decided to vote for Trump after my favorite candidate, Rubio, didn't make it. At first, I really despised Trump--he offended my Southern sensibilities. But.....after all that has happened in the world and terrorism on our own soil, racial division escalating, law enforcement assassinated in the streets, I have come to believe that extreme situations demand an extreme leader. I am familiar with Hillary and Bill as he hails from my state and I want nothing to do with either of them! I truly believe she is a criminal and wants to transform this country into a socialist state. Trump can be offensive, and I don't think he has a history of sterling behavior and character, but I think he can do the job. He did take his money and business out of the USA and he has explained why. Democrats have made it very difficult through excessive taxation and regulation for businesses to succeed in America. This is wrong. I grew up in the 50's and 60's when America was in it's heyday of manufacturing after WWII. American products were created with pride and they lasted! The family who lived next door to us bought a new refrigerator in 1949 when they got married. The son in this family who was my childhood friend, told me recently that when his mom died two years ago, that refrigerator was STILL WORKING! Although, they had prospered through the years, his mom could not part with that old fridge! My son-in-law is a small business owner who struggles against the oppressive government to make a profit. When Bill Clinton first ran for office years ago he stated that illegal immigration was one of our biggest problems. When Trump says the same thing he is called a bigot and racist. Hillary plans to bring in thousands of "refugees" when there is absolutely no way to vet these people. They don't have a paper trail. We have seen how this has worked for western Europe and Scandinavia. They are losing their countries! In Sweden, the rape rate has gone up 1500% and the media there tries to hide it. Turns out that 72% of the "refugees" they welcomed in turned out to single young men who trash their towns, spit at their hospitality and abuse and rape their girls and women. I do not trust Hillary Clinton to protect American citizens. I do trust Trump to protect America's national security and that is why I am voting for him.
ReplyDeleteWell, running with a sharp pencil... I'd like to thank you for a respectful and thorough answer. I don't disagree with a few of your concerns, either.
ReplyDeleteHi it's Kelly from New Jersey again,
ReplyDeleteI'd just like to say something regarding Atlantic City. I live approximately an hour from there and the city was flushing itself down the toilet before Trump built there. Outside the area where the hotels/casinos are if you step off of the boardwalk it is a crime infested pit. The mayor and officials have not been able to clean up the town for years, the hotels and casinos can only do/support so much if the rest of the area is in trouble. This is just another example of the news giving its opinion rather than what is really happening to our country.
Good debate by the way!!
Kelly, having grown up on Staten Island, not so far away either... I know the woe you speak of. I didn't blame Trump for all AC's issues... It still does not erase Trumps BIG misteps there.
ReplyDelete
