I can smell it

  Do you see what I see this morning?  the GROUND!!... and the scent as I stepped outside to take this picture was of wet earth, and  the promise of SPRING!..... do I hear a Hallelujah!  The birds are chirping, the chickens are roaming, the horses are muddy and I don't care. 



 It's a new day, folks - make it a good one! 
and thank you to all who are donating a book to This Old House's
Little Free Library.  I'll let you know what we all put together :-)

    It's here as well . . . slower, but I can smell it! Even though I'm looking out on snow still.

    I really should never complain, because I really do love living here.

    I know the smell you're talking about. It's the BEST.

    Oh yeah.... hallelujah is right! Sun and warmer temps, can't wait to be able to open my windows and smell that spring air...changes your whole outlook :)

    I am so jealous here I can hardly look at your pictures. The only thing I can smell here is more snow in the air-coming tonight- UGH----I am really happy for you though-xo Diana

    A friend of mine who raises sheep and goats calls this 'mud season' :)

    You can tell Spring is in the air when you leave the house and you start peeling off layers 'cause you're still dressed for winter.

    I have bluebirds too - so nice to see them come back to their spots every year. They really are spring to me.

    Congrats on your New Little Library. We have lots of those in our neighborhood. Two on our street.

    We are starting to see the ground here in Minneapolis, but I just heard on the news we are in for more snow tonight/tomorrow morning and then again more substantial snow Sunday/Monday. I am so ready to see wet, muddy ground.
