.. because I've taken back an old editorial job where I'm constantly trying to come up with better, easier, more creative ways to say something. Not that I'm particularly good at it!
We've got more snow on the horizon... feels like we're living in a perpetual snow globe. There is a very small deck outside my kitchen sliders that has three steps down to the backyard and gardens. Sometimes on a cold winter day if the sun is shining bright, I can lay out on that little deck comfortably in a t shirt and jeans and soak up the warmth and light. The wood decking absorbs the heat from the sun and it feels glorious against my sore back muscles.
Currently...the snow is inches ABOVE the lip of the deck... that just ain't right.
Despite the snow and cold temps, we've also had some glorious sunsets. This came straight from my iPhone... the sky was that amazing.
We had some fun with good friends on Sunday.. took a ride to the far corners of the State to see a very old house that needs restoration. What a glorious place.. I can't share pictures with you at this point but I will when it's OK to do so. You'll fall in love, just as we have.
She was braver than I with her good camera in hand, climbing over a snow embankment to capture a snow covered garden yard.
So.. more snow. And because of that, I need some inspiration......

I think blog titles are often harder than the post... on the other hand sometimes I come up with what I think is a good title but nothing to go with it !!!
I have a heck of a time with post titles. I guess it's supposed to reflect what's in my post, but then I get off on a tangent and, sometimes, have to change the title, LOL

ReplyDeleteI want to seeeeee the house! I'm jealous of all the snow. We're having a weird winter too. It heats up here and our snow melts, and the warm temps in the Midwest fuel the New England blizzards even more. What an odd winter!

I've seen it, now wish it would go away. the high winds have taken off part of my metal barn roof...sigh. now to find a cherry picker and someone to fix the roof.
